Department of Pharmacology
It has five teaching and research sections, namely, the
inorganic physiochemistry, the medicinal element
analysis, the organic medi-chemistry, the natural medi-chemistry,
and the medicament. It is furnished with a department
central laboratory, a precision instrumentation office,
and an herbal specimen room.
It is now undertaking one research
project trusted by the state Science & Technology
Ministry, two provincial research projects, and six
university research projects. One research project has
won a Class III award of science & technology
advancement from the state Coal Ministry. Its faculty
members have had quite a number of papers published in
kernel periodicals such as the Medicinal Herbs, the
Patent Chinese Herbal Drugs, and the China
Pharmaceutical Industry, etc.
